Black Women with LD
The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) in partnership with The Education Trust launched a series of conversations that examine the challenges of self-advocacy for Black girls with learning disabilities (LD).
This series covered a range of topics from the impact of Black educators to getting into "Good Trouble".
In collaboration with NCLD's Director of Leadership Development and Organizing, I produced and facilitated the outreach strategy for this project. The series was spotlighted during NCLD's Black History Month (2021) campaign and featured on partner newsletters and blogs including, the Children's Health Council (CHC). Watch and learn more here.
